Formulated with the Ayurvedic Heritage ingredients in Black Cumin, Centella Asiatica, Neem and Manuka Honey UMF20+, this gel-cream does it all - in fact, one would ask, what doesn't it not do? It works effortlessly alongside potent brighteners, soothers, hydrators and (pore) clarifying agents to help retexturize the skin surface, reduce discoloration, fade stubborn hyperpigmentation, refine pores, combat breakouts and help smoothen the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
When formulating our beloved CCA, Farah wanted to address breakouts and hyperpigmentation at the same time; 2 common skin woes which seem at odds with each other. Many products target 1 or the other. CCA is a perfect example of a balance of powerful yet gentle exfoliants, potent brighteners (actives clinically proven to target melasma) and blemish-clarifying agents with essential nutrients that calm the skin, supporting the delicate skin barrier. This reduces the risk of irritation and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation associated with other alpha hydroxy (AHA) acid formulations.

How To Use:
1. As an overnight mask: Apply 20 minutes before bed: after cleansing apply a thin layer (½ - 1 pump) all over the face. Follow up with your favorite moisturiser; if needed. Otherwise the CCA does well as a moisturiser. More resilient skins can layer a retinoid to enhance the delivery for an intensive retinoid treatment.
Use the CCA 1-3 times a week. Because of its potency in active ingredients, we recommend starting slow by using it only once a week. Always use a broad spectrum SPF the morning after.
2. As a wash off mask: Apply a thin layer, leave it on for 15-20 mins and rinse off. This can be done as frequently as you like for instant brightness. Use it on your whole face, avoiding the eye area, and allow the gel cream serum to fully absorb into the skin before proceeding to put on moisturiser. A separate moisturiser is optional depending on your skin states and what you desire.

Q: What if i do not have acne or blemishes? Is the Complexion Clarifying Accelerator still for me?
A: Absolutely. This is for anyone looking for gentle but effective exfoliation without the usual irritation or sensitivity. This highly concentrated blend of brighteners, regenerators and enzyme acid create a dramatic improvement in the skin’s texture, tone, radiance and bounce. It also targets fine lines, wrinkles and promotes cell renewal for healthy looking skin. Some of the key ingredients like Dioic Acid have shown some wonderful clinical success against more stubborn conditions like Melasma & severe hyperpigmentation. While powerful, this product is gentle on the skin.
Q: Can I use the Complexion Clarifying Accelerator if I am breastfeeding, pregnant, lactating or planning a pregnancy?
A: We always recommend that you check with your doctor before using
any product.
Q: I have sensitive skin, can I still use the Complexion Clarifying Accelerator?
A: We make sure to avoid irritants in our formula. However, due to the nature of acids, we recommend doing a patch test on the face before using the product and if no irritation occurs, start once a week use and gradually increase frequency to 1-2 times or 1-3 times if your skin does not have adverse reactions to the product. We also recommend you use a very thin layer over a light cream (buffering use) for your first few applications to avoid the risk of irritation.
Q: Are there any side effects?
A: After conducting Patch and Ocular tests in the lab, the side effects associated with the Complexion Clarifying Accelerator were mild to none. However, as with any exfoliant we always recommend you conduct a patch test and wait 24 hours before using the product. Some may experience a slight tingling sensation on the first few applications. This will stop after a while.
Q: How can I complete my routine to tackle uneven skin tone?
A: For maximised and amplified results, we highly recommend you pair this cream with the Triphala Pigmentation Corrector to more directly tackle hyperpigmentation and discoloration issues to support the skin's brightness and youthfulness.
